We were really pleased with the Donna Laura Palace. The hotel
itself was excellent, very up market. The staff were very
helpful and pleasant and were only too happy to direct us
and give us a few pointers on where to go and how to get there.
The Metro is a few minutes’ walk but nothing significant
and the location of the hotel by the river meant it was always
a pleasant walk either to our destination or to the subway.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend.

This hotel is in a great location. Slightly away from the
hustle and bustle of the absolute centre of Rome, but beautifully
situated on the river and just a lovely walk to the top attractions
in the city. The Donna Laura Palace is a fine four star hotel
and the pictures don’t do it justice. Marble and luxury
is evident throughout and the room was excellent - bright
and spacious, quality furnishings and clean. Breakfast was
buffet style with a good selection and the hotel people were
very nice and helpful. The Donna Laura Palace is a nice place
to stay and a pleasure to come back to after a long day.

I felt overall this hotel was good value for money. It is
rated as a four star hotel and this was obvious with the décor,
marble floorings, first-class rooms etc. though was still
reasonably priced. The room was a good size with a nice balcony
and the restaurant was pleasant to dine in too. Hotel Donna
Laura Palace’s location on the Tiber was very scenic
and pleasant. Others I spoke to felt it was maybe slightly
inconvenient for the metro and major attractions but they
were all within good walking distance and the view and immediate
surroundings more than made up for this. I wouldn’t
hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel was booked by us having first looked at a few
on the net. It looked good and seemed very reasonable for
a four star hotel and we weren’t disappointed. We looked
at other hotels, more expensive, which paled in comparison
so overall we were lucky with our judgement. The room was
faultless, easily big enough, quality evident throughout including
a lovely bathroom. The staff were quite pleasant and tolerant
when we required them and overall a very enjoyable stay. Whilst
the usual sightseeing spots and Metro were a few minutes walk
away, this was nothing ever than an enjoyable walk through
the city and the Donna Laura Palace is worth it for its location
by the Tiber.
